How long will it take for the plaster to dry?"
This depends on several factors, including the thickness of the plaster, the room's temperature and humidity, and ventilation. Generally, it can take anywhere from 3 to 7 days, but it could be longer.
How much will it cost?
Costs vary significantly based on the size of the area, the condition of the walls, and the type of plastering required. I'd need to assess the job to provide an accurate quote.
What preparation do I need to do before you start?
Ideally, clear the room of all furniture and remove any wall coverings. I'll also need access to water and electricity. It's also good to cover any remaining items to protect them from dust.. although we also protect everything and leave as clean as we find it.
How long will the job take?"
That depends on the size of the job, and the condition of the walls, but I can give you a estimated time frame before starting the job.
Can I paint the walls straight away?
NO!!!!!, You must wait until the plaster is fully dry. If you paint to early, you will trap moisture in the plaster, and the paint will likely peel.
Is plastering a difficult job?
Yes, it requires a lot of skill and experience. It's physically demanding and takes practice to achieve a smooth, even finish. But if you are good it should look easy.
